Informal pre-validation by a local reviewer before the LE Controller validates.
Validate (controller)
Mark a Submitted entry as validated against the GL — moves it to Open.
Confirm payment / refund
Confirm payment (Payable) or refund receipt (Receivable) and book the cash event.
Record / dispute assessment
Open, dispute or agree a tax-authority assessment linked to a return.
Log penalty / interest
Add a Penalty or Interest child entry against a late return.
Export audit log
Download the filtered audit-trail CSV for compliance / SOX evidence.
Sign-off (read-only)
Read-only acknowledgement — typically the local CFO confirming the period.
